Spring 2025 Season Details

Our SPRING 2025 season will run the week of February 10th through April 2025.

Overview-GOTR

  • The Spring 2025 season will begin the week of February 10th.
  • Program registration for particpants will be open January 13 - February 2. The computer generated lottery will be run on February 3rd.
  • Our standard schedule is to practice 2x a week for 20 lessons. Heart & Sole for middle school has an additional model that is 1 day a week for 10 lessons (2 hours each). Please see the locations page when registration opens to determine your site's specifics.
  • The season-culminating 5K event will be on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Druid Hill Park in Baltimore.
  • Our local Eastern Shore 5K will be on Saturday, May 3, 2025. (venue TBD)

The scholarship approval process is included in the online and paper registration process. Simply answer the scholarship questions during registration, and the computer will determine your eligibility and adjust the fee accordingly.

Registration Fees

Building confidence and a healthy lifestyle is PRICELESS! However, there are real costs associated with operating a non-profit organization and delivering the Girls on the Run program to 3rd-8th graders in the Anne Arundel, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Calvert, Charles, Kent, Caroline, Queen Anne's, Talbot, Somerset, Dorchester, Wicomico, Worcester, and St. Mary's Counties. Our participant registration is $175 and includes:

  •  20 seventy-five to ninety-minute sessions conducted by certified GOTR volunteer coaches
  • Curriculum and lesson materials including journal
  • Official Girls on the Run program t-shirt
  • GOTRGC participant 5K Registration fee
  • 5K Medal
  • 5K event experience and post 5K celebration
  • Coach support including volunteer training and certification
  • Program administration including insurance and membership dues to Girls on the Run International

Please note, GOTRGC particpants and coaches are registered for the 5K. 5K buddies will be asked to register for the 5K midway through the season.
