A group of GOTRGC photos
1) How long have you been involved with Girls on the Run of the Greater Chesapeake?

I have been with Gotr since 2012.

2) What drew you to the program to get involved?

I originally got involved as an assistant coach after seeing how much fun the girls had and what a strong bond the program created.

3) Why do you think it's so important for girls today to have access to this program?

Today the program helps to build friendships as well as each students self esteem. You can see the girls using strategies we learn throughout the day and see friendships built between students that normally wouldn’t cross paths.

4) What fun memory would you like to share?

My favorite memories are of all the 5k events. We always spend the day laughing and having fun.

5) What are some fun facts about you?

A fun fact  about me is that I have 4 dogs, a snake, a hedgehog and 4 hermit crabs!
